Our purpose is to work within our community to be prepared to respond to threats to Canada’s sovereignty by:

Serving as a source of trustworthy information to educate ourselves and the public
Facilitating quick response to emerging issues
Building resilient and supportive community which can help overcome feelings of fear, isolation and hopelessness
Objectives (How)
Create and/or connect with local networks which can mobilize and respond rapidly (e.g. e-mail trees)
Create/maintain a local resource list: (people, skills, organizations, sources of funds or supplies) (ElbowsUpVanIsle)
Develop skills and offer training opportunities related to preparedness
Initiate and join local events to protest/raise awareness (e.g Weekly Rallies on Government Street)
